The 2020 Presidential Election is over and Joseph Biden has won.  Yet, in the months, weeks, and days leading up to the election, many prominent Christian leaders went on the record proclaiming that God had revealed to them that Donald Trump would win reelection.  What happened?

In this fallen, broken world there will be times when following the Will of God - His "good and acceptable and perfect will" will be painful.  Even Jesus experienced this most difficult test of faithfulness, and how he passed that test and remained faithful is both a challenge and an encouragement to all of us!

In this passage, the Apostle Paul reveals an astounding insight into the cause of some of the problems and tests of our Christian walk - the fact that Satan can and does at times block your plans.  Often, when this happens, Christians are tempted to quit, but in this message we learn how to be faithful to Jesus when Satan blocks our plans.

A fact of life in this fallen world is that life doesn't always go to plan.  Accidents, disasters, catastrophes, the unexpected and unwanted does occur.  When this happens Christians need to realize that God not only tests our faith IN Him - He also tests our faithfulness TO Him.

During this difficult time of pandemic, social unrest, economic instability, political uncertainty, and moral depravity people are looking for answers and an epidemic of false prophets has risen up to afflict and exploit the Church.  Fortunately, the Bible has already given us guidance as to who the false prophets are, how to detect them, and how to discern and welcome the true prophets and teachers who have been called by Jesus to serve His Church.

Without doubt, we are living in difficult times!  It is part of human nature that when facing difficulty, people often become desperate.  Since desperate people do desperate things, desperate Christians often turn in desperation to different practices and beliefs to try to get God to make their life normal again.  In this message, we see exactly what God requires of us whether the times are difficult or not - or whether we're desperate or not.
