A few years ago, we at Vineyard Assembly of God decided to change both the name and the concept of “church membership” to “partnership.”

Too many people think of joining a church like becoming a member of an organization. We believe that a Christian Church isn’t membership, it is partnership – as we partner together with Jesus Christ and each other to serve God, serve each other, and serve our neighbors.
